It was housed in the Petrovaradin Fortress on the left bank of the Danube and consisted of four exhibitions showing the works of one Hungarian and one Serbian artist.<\/p> By the time the first official festival - Danube Dialogues 2013 - was held in Novi Sad and Petrovaradin, it featured 40 programmes involving 80 artists from 10 countries.<\/p> The underlying idea of the festival is for each country to showcase its current artistic scene via curators\u2019 exhibitions.
