The catalogues issued during Danube Dialogues in 2013 and 2014 displayed works of some of the Serbian artists in Vienna, initiating a dialogue between artists from Serbia and Austria, as well as cooperation resulting in the exchange of exhibitions entitled “235 km / 100 Years – Serbian and Austrian Artists Today. ” The highlight of the cooperation stemming from Danube Dialogues was a large exhibition of Serbian art “Premonition/Blood/Hope – Art in Vojvodina and Serbia from 1914 to 2014“, in Kunstlehaus, Vienna, organized by Sava Stepanov and Vesna Latinovic from Bel Art gallery. In my opinion, Danube Dialogues is an event of greatimportance for developing friendships among artists, curators and audience, as well as a chance for Serbian artist to exhibit their work in an international context.
