The main impression remaining after the exhibition certainly is a sovereign artistic awareness that one is a part of global problems. In the omnipresent mediatization of the world and art, there is a clear awareness that local events (usually crises and bad news that we learn about) are instantly globalized and converted into personal traumas and individual sense of vulnerability through electronic network channels. Therefore, in the midst of our non-emotional, dangerous and uncertain world a true modern-day artist acts consciously and rationally, trying to preserve dignity and humanitatis principia artis. The Novi Sad exhibitions held in the framework of Danube Dialogues 2016 offered numerous interesting messages and conclusions essential for understanding the world of today.
